Drops of water fell upon Ianto’s forehead. A leak in the roof but he knew that it was never going to be fixed, Torchwood never allowed for those things. So tonight he was left to look up at the ceiling while the drops began to fall.

I like this independent Ianto. Sometimes fanon makes him too needy for Jack, but this feels right.
