Ianto woke up to the sound of banging coming from the kitchen. Putting on his robe he walked into the kitchen to find Jack, half naked from the waist up, putting something into the oven.

“What are you doing?” Ianto asked as Jack closed the oven.

“I thought I’ll make us a pie for our picnic.” Jack answered turning around and taking off the oven

Is Jack trying to be Rhys in the 'good boyfriend' department? Well, he could certainly do worse!

I'm trying to picture someone being 'half naked from the waist up' - shouldn't that be 'naked from the waist up', or is he wearing something unspecified, like an apron?

it's should be naked from the waist up. at the time it sounded right.
I wrote this as I wanted Jack to do something nice but because it's Jack it will always turn sexual.
