The star maker says “It ain’t so bad”
Jack had first met the star maker on Persephone, while he was in the window releasing balls of light on display. Jack was surprised to see a young man in his twenties, wearing a cardigan and black trousers blowing pixie dust into the air. The display sparkled in front of Jack, reminding him how mysterious the universe really was and he left without a word.
Later that night the star maker was pinned underneath him as the display swirled above them. The mixture of pixie dust and stars sparkling in the moonlight. It made Jack smile.
The universe wasn’t so bad after all.
The dream maker’s gonna make you mad
Jack hated the dream maker. Every night it would always be the same, dreams of Boeshane peninsula, of Grey and his family. It was driving him crazy.
After waking up for the hundredth time in a cold sweat, he walked over to the window and wondered why he made a deal with the dream maker. Then he remembered the star maker’s words about dreams and deals. “The dream maker will only give you nightmares.”
Jack wished he was wrong.
The Spaceman says “Everybody look down it’s all in your mind!”
Jack sighed and turned off the radio.
It really reminded him of the Doctor.
If only he was here.
