Cavemen could be a good contender, as well. A whole sitcom based on a 30 second joke from a commercial.

Yeah, but they break out into song and dance on "Viva Laughlin." Does "Cop Rock" ring a bell? Full disclosure, I only know "Cop Rock" as a byword for surreal television.

It was interesting enough to keep me around for another episode, but right now, it seems like complete B movie stuff. Which is probably what they always were, so maybe it'll be fun seeing them completely embrace it.

I'll be honest, Prison Break's seemingly complete rejection of reality and substitution of their own, is working for me. Especially as they've ejected the political angle.
