Best Superhero Costume Ever Tournament 2007
Here's the tournament that will blow all tournaments away, the Best Superhero Costume EVER Tournament. You've waited for it, and now it's here.
Members can nominate up to five costumes. Be specific in your nominations, as heroes tend to change their costumes from time-to-time (so, don't just nominate "Spider-Man's costume", but rather specify between the red and blue costume, the black and white costume, the Scarlet Spider costume -- it had a hoodie! ---, etc). Also, while the title is "Superhero Costume", what we're basically going for here is the superhero genre of comic books, not necessarily "heroes", so villains are eligible too (cause who doesn't love The Taskmaster's costume?).
Nominations are due at noon, April 1, 2007.
So, yeah, APRIL FOOLS. I am quite aware that this would be the lamest tournament ever, so no, I wasn't serious. Just having some seasonal fun, is all. However, the next tournament will indeed be comic book related (and I suppose it's entirely possible that some people might base their votes on who has the best costume), so keep your eyes open. The official tournament announcement should be up in the next few days.
