I know this isn't the way you intended it, but the phrase "most desired child actors in Hollywood"? Creepy.

It's been much too long since I actually sat down to watch it, but the 1973 adaptation always stuck with me and seemed to be a decent take on the book. I mean, casting Paul Lynde as Templeton seemed like a glove finding its hand to me. Maybe time hasn't been kind to it, but this one used classic cel animation and a cast of some stars, but some V/O pros as well.
