Good thing Steve Irwin died, otherwise we might never have seen this review.

This documentary was awesome. The fact he touched bears in the wild is crazy. I liked the part where the foz stole his hat and brought it in the den. His reaction to it was priceless. There is no doubt the man was crazy. From what I can remember after they aired it on discovery they showed an interview with some of his friends after viewing the film. They kept talking about how the film prtrayed him as crazy but he was not. I did not know him but he seemed pretty crazy to me.

I was wondering if Fozzie Bear was in it as well for a second there.

I actually think Herzog was pretty fair with him, allowing the footage (and thus Treadwell himself) speak for itself. And that footage showed pretty clearly that something wasn't quite right in the head of that guy.

I particularly like when his summation take of his second-to-last summer was nothing more but an obscenity-laced tirade against his so-called enemies. Yep, definitely not crazy.

Gotta love Herzog. I'll probably be renting this in the near future. Maybe as the same time as Alien.
