Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
I saw Talladega Nights on the weekend. Let me start by saying I am not a huge Will Ferrell fan. I mean when he is not the star he is great but when he has to carry a movie I find him a bit annoying.
Ok so this movie is fucking hilarious. There are moments when I was laughing so hard I could not hear the next couple lines. However, funny moments spaced throughout boring and obscene do not make a good movie. This movie really kind of blows. I am rarely offended at much these days but parts of this movie offended me. The way the kids talked to “Chip” was awful, borderline offensive. Cohen, other wise known as Ali G, blew hardcore. That man is so not funny. I made $5 off my wife though because I wanted to stay to the end of the credits as I thought they would show something and they did. Unfortunately it much like this movie was not worth five bucks. I guess I’d give it a 58.3 out of 100.
