Here's the final grouping. Why drag this out, I say. Plus, this way every matchup gets the same amount of days for voting. I've thought of everything! (That is, until something else comes up). I think this one is tougher than Group C, but still not as tough as A and B. So here it is, T5Rers, now get out there and spread the word... the Best TV Show EVER tournament is underway!
The first round will be broken up into four different groups of eight matchups. The groupings are only so the posts aren't too long, and won't carry on to the next round, where matchups will once again be semi-random. In parenthesis after the show's name is the total of number of nominations a show received.
In the event of a tie, the first tiebreaker in the first round will be total nominations. The next tiebreaker is a 24 hour vote off between the tied shows. For subsequent rounds, the first tiebreaker will be total votes from all rounds, then nominations, then a vote off.
Voting for this round will close on 12:01 am MST Thursday, July 20th. At that point, a screen capture will be taken of the votes to prove the validity of the cutoff. The winners might not be announced until later that day though, because I have a job and all.
