With the Oscar nominations released yesterday, I figured it was about time that I make my Top 10 Film List for the year. This is the first year I've ever attempted to do this. And, surprisingly, I actually saw enough films this year to put 10 on a list. Due to my extremes in taste, my list is quite ecclectic. Enter at your own risk...

This post has me feeling conflicted. On the one hand, I'm so happy that someone else posted a year end list. I really like them and was just discussing my disappointment about the dearth of them in the community so far.

On the other hand, I was going to post MY top ten movies tonight, and now it looks like I'm copying you.

Oh yeah, good list.

I really wanted to see The Squid and the Whale, but missed it during its short run here. It was on in my parents' town when we were visiting, but only for a day during our trip. We actually went to the theatre to see it, but they switched the times around for that night (New Year's Eve), and we wound up buying tickets for some really weird Canadian independant flick. Luckily, we got a refund. Sadly, we did not see the movie we wanted to.
