New tv.

A few short but sweet reviews. I fully plan on trying to watch most of the pilots this year (thanks to bit torrent) and I will let you know what I think as I see them. Check your local listings for times.

Prison Break~Monday/FOX-We are now 3 episodes in.
Premise: Guy lands himself in jail to break his (innocent?) brother out.
What I think: It's really good. It's good enough that you can ignore the fact that this guy managed to actually get in the same prison as his brother and that they will actually pull of breaking themselves and others out.
Watch if: You like 24.

Supernatural~Starting this Tuesday/WB
Premise: 20 years ago a woman was killed in a very disturbing and unnatural way. Now her sons drive around the country looking for what killed her.
What I think: Better than I thought. It scared me a couple times, so it's doing it's job. My only problem is that the oldest brother's name is Dean and the younger one played Dean on Gilmore Girls. It confuses me.
Watch if: You like Smallville, but want a show that doesn't suck. Smallville sucks.

Reunion-Started Thursday/FOX
Premise: One of six friends was murdered. They've been friends for 20 years and each episode is a different year in their lives. We will find out who was killed in a few episodes and find out who killed them at the end. Year-long episodes are very in these days.
What I think: I love the soapy goodness. The writing in acting isn't stellar, but it could be a lot worse. It is the new guilty pleasure.
Watch if: you love Melrose Place or 90210.

The O.C.~Third season started Thursday/FOX
Premise: Can't give too much of this season away for those who haven't seen it. It's like 90210 with better writing, better acting, irony, and way emo.
What I think: Awesome. It's the show that you want to hate, but them you watch it and fall in love.
Watch if: You love teen angst and have taste.

Family Guy~Premiered tonight/FOX
If you like it watch it. Nothings new, just old Griffiny goodness.

This is all I've seen this season. Go to tvjunkies for tv news and the fall schedule.

Go to thewb.com and Fox.com for cast lists and previews of these shows.
