This weekend was full of me watching wrestling tapes from the 5 or so years when I stopped watching it completely, and for the most part didn't even receive feedback on what was going on. Glad I missed most of 94-99, because boy did WWF suck back then (I never watched WCW, and a little ECW when it was around). Raw is also supposed to come to Dayton either this week or next week, but I couldn't find anybody to go with me, no wrestling fans I know around here, so that made me think of this list.
5 - Yokozuna. Well, what can really be said? The guy's most technical move was the nerve hold. The mid 90's was all about giants, so this guy happened to get the big push. Even when I was at the really young age where all wrestling matches were supposed to be really interesting, I couldn't even be entertained by him.
4 - Undertaker. Never was a fan of him. When he debuted I was a kid and hated all heels, when I started to be a real wrestling fan I understood how much he sucked, and always considered him a lucky guy to be so over with the crowd.
3 - Scott Hall. He always got on my nerves. I really would have hated to see him during his later WCW days, not to say he was that great when he started in the WWF anyways. When he and Nash came back in 2002 I almost cried I was so upset. Hogan I could understand, even though I didn't like it, but Hall and Nash were unnecessary, as was NWO revived.
2 - Kevin Nash. Another guy I could never get into simply because I saw nothing special in him, ever. Appearantly he's had some good matches with Shawn Michaels, but the only above average matches I saw him in were his WM12 match with Taker and the KOTR 94 match with Bret. His cocky attitude really bothered me, and the way he always pampered himself in the ring.
1 - Hulk Hogan. Sort of an odd choice, because as a kid, like most people, I was a Hulkamaniac. But when I got around to attending shows, I just couldn't stand the guy. He may draw huge pops from the crowd, but that would really be the only reason to attend a show where he would be, just to hear the reaction. Big deal. I've heard Billy Gunn tear the house down with pops.
