Make sure you got that quote from the lj-cut. Got it? Alright, it's the most telling line in the entire movie. Which I'll get back to, at the end of my review. But while we're here, look at that cast, wow, my goodness! Oscar winners De Niro, Zellweger, Jolie. Oscar nominated Smith & Scorcese. This movie HAS to be good right? I mean, it's gotta be better than Finding Nemo right? It's by the studio that gave us the Shrek movies, so it's GOT to be good right?

If you thought so, you're wrong & stupid. Sorry, that might've been uncalled for, that stupid remark. I apologize. But did you see the previews for Shark Tale? Did it really make you want to see it like Nemo did? I thought it looked freakin' terrible, like a cheap knock-off that's trying to be everything that Nemo avoided.

Sure, the fish in Nemo talked like humans, but the didn't act like humans. They didn't have undersea cities, with some bizarre form of electricity the defies the laws of.. SOMETHING! BAH! Let's see if I can think of something good to say about the movie.

The animated sea creatures look startlingly like the celebritites that voice them. The animators NAILED that area of the movie, just NAILED it. The giant shark looks like De Niro, & well, Scorcese as a puffer fish (boy never get tired of seeing those in animated sea movies), they perfectly captured his eyebrows. TOTALLY.

But is the movie any good? Sadly, it's a bit below average, being that it seemed to be very promising coming from Dreamworks & having the all-star cast that it does. It's an alright diversion I guess, but other than a crazy hermit crab, there wasn't much in this movie that I enjoyed. So yeah, my question that relates to my lj-cut quote is this: why in the hell would fish need an elevator? There ya go, that's the inherent problem with this movie. It's a stupid, stupid premise. 2 outta 5.
