Top 5 Jennifer Aniston films

All I seem to be able to do for these lists is Top 5 lists for movies featuring dudes (besides my ground-breaking Top 5 Movies list). I was worried how this made me look. Cause I'm all MAN dammit! So Skooch and I spent most of the day at work trying to figure an actress that I could do a Top 5 list for, and kept trying. Here's the thing: Hollywood fucks actresses over all the time. If a decent actress wants to make any real scratch, she has to sell out and make movies like Tomb Raider, Charlie's Angels or Sweet Home Alabama. Hey, there's a market for the chick flick, but I'm not that market. The other way an actress can go is the Gwyneth Paltrow/Nicole Kidman route and make a bunch of boring Merchant Ivory films that I'll never watch. And then we found Aniston! Which works perfectly since I just did a list for her husband. Synergy rules!

5. Picture Perfect (number five was a tough one, because, in reality, I only like four Jennifer Aniston movies. So I had to chose between two of her insipid chick flicks that are perfect descriptions of what I described above. I chose this over The Object of My Affection because it has Jay Mohr, who kicks ass. Also, it doesn't have any problematic "the gay Paul Rudd sorta falls for a chick for a moment" connotations).

4. Bruce Almighty (this is a really funny Jim Carrey movie in which Aniston plays a perfect girlfriend- the role she can always play when she needs the money).

3. The Good Girl (in this movie, Aniston proves she can act. And that she doesn't always have to play the perfect girlfriend. I'd rank it higher, but I didn't really like the movie. It was alright, but I don't need to watch it again. This shows the other part of my top fives- not only are they ranked based on the actor's contributions-- their Anistoness in this case-- but they are also ranked on how much I like the film. It's a balance. That's why it's the Top 5 film list, not a Top 5 performances list. It's all very confusing, I know).

2. She's The One (One of my favourites. But it's tough to believe anyone would cheat on Jennifer Aniston. Even with Cameron Diaz).

1. Office Space (Another favourite, where Aniston yet again plays a perfect girlfriend. But she's funnier in this movie. I don't like to talk about my flair).
