Time on my hands
Eh, now that I'm a graduate, Bacherlor of Applied Science: Wildlife Technology!!! I've got time on my hands so I'm wondering if I should bother with writing. My life is farely boring these days, just work and sleep, although that damned Facebook puppy has me obsessed now. I've also been getting back into my writing and loving it but I want to do so much I find myself split a zillion ways.
Actually I'm inspired to redo the website layout for the millionth. I like this one though, the others were only so so. I'm thinking that once I have a nice place to put it I'll really feel like writing it because I feel its a good story. The problem is it's not forum compatible and the place I read Pokemon fanfiction most- when my bloody computer wants to work- is Serebii. My chapters are just too long for people to read and review. I should find some hidden, not very well known site and give it a test run.
This one I'm really excited about, its the first time I've had art commissioned for a character. It's for Naruto, which frankly is agonising to read for an OC-only reader. I could swear I've read the same thing at least a dozen times with just different names for the OC in question. I really pity Sasuke, the poor bastard.
I'm lucky my bishie- super psychotic medicine man Kabuto doesn't attract to many. Can Tucka pull of romance.... Almost certainly not so its a good thing I'm not going to try. Kabuto is way to cool to have another OC, even one of mine latch onto him like a leach. Using and abusing seems more his deal, but I think my main Kana is love-starved. I think that's how you know you have a good character, when the character outgrows your own expectations and needs to act on their own. I have a ton of planning done for her so I think I'll post it here in case I lose it. That's what happened to Pilot Light Express, a computer failure and I lost a ton of cool plot points.
Kana's history really grips me, and I'm sad to say I'm using Who Knew by Pink as her imagery song, at least for her past. Normally I hate characters with a past. Wangst, wangst, wangst, get on with it, but as I said. She started off as an unscrupulous snarky veteran Jonin, and I kept picking and picking at her and she became weaker and weaker, except for her Kekkai Genkai which frankly you can't use to attack, and her past started becoming darker and grittier and (from other characters point of view) she became more annoying or *searches for word* well, a braggy lowlife who's arrogant decisions that cost her genin team... well you'll find out when I finish typing up my referencing material. And that's just before the fic starts!!!! Ahh, it'll be epic if I ever start it, but I get too caught up in planning.
Yes! COSMIC Senshi has begun to pick up again! My otaku senshi, Sailor Aello (and Professor Severitt, tehee) who's site is here if you're interested (Who's interested, no one looks at this thing!) was just too brilliant a character to waste. Gowan, read her bio. I hope you get a laugh. I want to update her page with more info and finish the chapter so she can finally get playing with the other senshi of the RPG, Sailor Ruby, Sailor Virtue, Sailor Epsilon and Sailor Glass Titan for now but come join the insanity! Oddly I don't have much planned for Aello, she's a go with other peoples flow character and the exact opposite to Kana, no past and no future.
For now let's call it Morpheus. I've been dying to write a Pokemorph fic for ages, and I thought, hell- I love writing in a group like COSMIC, why not make it an RPG. I brought it up with Psychic from Serebii, an awesome lil mate I actually met when I went to Montreal (BUT SHE'S NOT LITTLE! I want whatever they're feeding them over there.). She's up for co-moding, because modding sucks alone, but we're still figuring out the storyline. I wrote one up but I'm still trying to figure out just what she wants. Myself, I don't want slaves, every morph fic and its dog has a morph that's a woe-betide slave of Team Rocket/Galaxy/Lavalamp. I want something that's starts off casual and normalish that has the option of being dark and wangst. I think she wants all morphs to be slaves. Eh, we'll figure it out. I'm pretty sure I'll have a Murkrow morph named Solomon.
