Holy Sunburn Batman!
So I won tickets to a baseball game on Sunday through work. I knew ahead of time that it was at 1:30 and it was meant to be about 29degrees celcius. I pre-planned to put on sunscreen, wear a hat, have a bottle of water and bring my battery-operated fan thing. Yeah.. put on sunscreen but didn't bring it with me, the water quickly ran out, forgot my hat and decided against the fan.
Yeah.. Chelle in high-noon sun for 3 ½ hours nonstop with no shade = BURRRNNNNNN... my non-burned skin looks like a white shirt. Somehow my face is decent though.. lil red on my forehead and nose but that's it. Burnt my knees though so walking hurts. Aloe is my friend <3 My back's alright.. so I can sleep on it.. which I never do.. but someone at work who is also burnt said he can't sleep at all ^^;
Hrm.. I need to buy a birthday present soon.. not sure what though. So far I've never bought anybody a giftcard cuz I think they're kinda impersonal but I'm sure she wouldn't mind if it was for a bookstore =P
