Win Hill
A couple of photos from a walk with a visiting friend up Win Hill, whose distinctive profile beckons as one drives out from Sheffield into the Peak District along the Manchester road. After the steep ascent to the top of the hill from the reservoir to the east, the gentle trail leading off towards the Hope Valley looks very inviting. Walking along it, one can keep looking back and catching glimpses of the rocky outcrop that forms the summit of Win Hill.
