Pemberton Festival.
Phew! I've been here for the last 3 days. Very tired, grubby and I smell like smoke.
It was amazingly cool to have a big festival like this so close - I rode my bike there! But the zillions of people who invaded our little town and left gum, garbage and puke on every piece of sidewalk - they got old really fast.
Tragically Hip were my favourite. Jay-Z was fantastic (should've taken a photo of the sign that said "You're Jay-zed to us"), Death Cab was boring. Metric was good, Tom Petty was a huge crowd favourite and most surprisingly of all, Coldplay didn't suck! Chris Martin really engaged the crowd and everybody was into it.
