college
I sent out my application to Dalton last night, when it asked what I wanted to major in I was a tad taken back for a moment, b/c it seemed so final. I mean I know it's not and basically I can change any time b/c apparently that's how college works or so I'm told, but I'm majoring in secondary education, with a minor in english. I'll be going to school for four years now instead of six, if I would have majored in english and something else and then got my teaching certification. This way I can get my foot in the door, and begin my career in less time, and then continue with school after I've already set a foundation if I want. I'm excited though, I really really am. SAT retakes Dec 2nd for me too, I'm so gonna kick butt this time around! Not that I did horrible last time, it just wasn't up to my standards, and now that I understand Algebra II a whole lot better it'll help so much and I'm also not as freaked out about taking tests anymore like I was last year. SOOOO yeah that's the plan, Dalton college, and over the summer before college starts, I'm thinking about planning a trip to Savannah, for about a week, just me Rick and the beach it'll so great!
