Author! Author!
I have just heard that one of my stories has been accepted for publication in an anthology set in Storm Constantine's Wraeththu Universe.... a world where humanity is almost extinct, replaced by the next stage of human evolution...the Wraeththu.
My Story called Specimen 16 follows a young man troubled by dreams of magic and blood selected to take part in a vaccine trial. With the human race technicaly extinct, what corners have the Doctors cut? Do they truly understand the serum they're injecting into Specimen 16?
It started as a short story, grew to novel length, and is now condensed back down to a different short story.
