(no subject)
It's monday. So I guess I'll write.
Ingrid's doing something on the 31st for her b-day and she told me I have to wear a "pretty dress." That means that I'm on a diet until then. Maybe lunch at Costco isn't such a good idea....
It's time to work out a budget...and plan to move the FUCK out! I've thought about it, and maybe I'll move to Mountain View, near Castro St. It's really close to 237 so the commute wouldn't suck too much, and it'd be a pretty cool place to live. But in an apartment! NOT someone's house. I'm sorry, but I want to live alone! I don't care if it ends up costing me up the ASS.
I've also considered downtown Campbell...but I dunno. It's not exactly exciting there. And still too close to home.
There's also further up the east bay - Berkeley, perhaps? But I think that really is an awful commute and too far away. Even if I used BART. That's still like a 45 min trip. NAH.
Can anybody think of a nice place to live, near Fremont (i.e. less than 30 min commute), that is young, single adult-friendly? I mean, it would be nice to find a place sorta like the one in SC my junior year that was really close to downtown so I could stumble home drunk if necessary and not worry about driving home or finding a cab. The problem now is finding a neighborhood where I'd feel safe doing that...oh well.
Alright, enough not-working. (I totally got a lot of work done earlier today! Despite the fact that my intermediates were expired and that there wasn't enough miligrams left in the other bottle to make my product...BLAH!)
