I'm scheduled to have surgery on friday to correct a deviated septum. The procedure's called a septoplasty and it involves them sticking knives up my nose while I'm asleep.
I had no idea i had a deviated suptum until recently but it does explain why i don't breath through my nose all that well. I only found out when i went to get a hearing test

it does weird stuff to my ears though; i think cause some water gets in the eustascion (sp?) tubes and makes wet pressure-change sensations go on like you've been swimming.

the "like the life i want is impossible" line is still one of his crowning achievements and it's so applicable to so many situations. like today when i was shopping with my mom at oakridge centre mall. that shit is out of hand; teens, man, fucking teens.
