Good Day
Today was the best day i've had in a long time.
I attended my last ever class of vocal jazz.
When i told everyone that i wouldn't be coming back, Mr. Nolet let me take the entire solo in "Change in my Life" while everyone practiced backups.
It was the first solo i had taken this year.
It was the first time i sang, uninhibited, in front of my peers.
I rocked. and everyone told me so. then they told me not to leave vocal jazz.
All in all it was a very confidence-boosting experience.
Mr. Nolet told me that if i practiced outside of class that i could still be a part of VJ, go to concerts, and perform at assemblies.
THEN, in a meeting after school i was informed that in order to switch into environmental science i WOULDNT have to switch all my other classes.
THEN i hung out with devon on the ave. I had a pretty good time and i spent $35 on the cutest pair of heels that have ever fit my feet.
I'm really feeling good.
and i have been all day.
and tomorrow is a late start :]
