over-the-top extravagant. BUT. it was
perfect . . . it just fit him.

so i've been wanting a pink backpack
(i'm on a pink kick for some hellish reason)
and some Nike Shox for such a longggg time.
saturday night, we had planned on staying the night
together to celebrate our anniversary.
so i walked into the room and saw my pink backpack
sitting on the couch. so i went over to pick it up, and
when i did, i noticed it was heavy and had something in it.
so i opened it up and saw the shoe box with my Shox in it.
then he said, "c'mon, let's try 'em on." so he put my first
shoe on and asked how it felt, i said fine, and then he started
to put my other shoe on. but when he tried to, i felt
something in the toe, and i thought it was just the standard
cardboard and paper shoes are usually stuffed with. so he looked
in the shoe, and that's when he pulled out the ring.
eventually, after laughing for roughly 5 minutes, i said yes.
then we preceded to call family and friends.
