hooray!!
say hello to the new head pastry chef at the barr mansion!! they offered me the job yesterday. they said they loved my cakes, my decorating abilities, the flavors and my 'can do' attitude. yay me!
so now my current conundrum is which part-time job to keep as i don't need three jobs anymore. i'd be really fine with just the barr mansion paycheck but i think i would get bored not working all the time. the restaurant is good because i get to see the other side of the pastry world and get more experience in my field. the hospital is good because they practically let me work any hours that i want and pays way more than a part-time job should. the restaurant is bad because it's every thursday, friday and saturday night. the hospital is bad only because it's not a pastry job. sheesh. what to do?
i watched the new version of pride and prejudice last night. i wasn't sure i would be too keen on it since i love the 42-hour original, but i did enjoy it. so much so, that i debated watching it again instead of going to sleep. the new version has artsy camera work that adds so much and just had me all mesmerized. i want to find my mr. darcy.
