the first block of classes was over on friday. i finished up with a 97. not too shabby. not a 100 but it's still an a. suppose i should be happy because it's not ever going to get that easy again ( Read more... )

You should definitely be happy with a 97! That's great :-) Believe me, you'll go crazy like I did if you start worrying too much. Or be like my mom, who actually said "Oh no!" when I told her I got an A- on my English paper :*( (it sucked so I was relieved to get that).

i really don't understand why i got so bothered with a 97. there is no a+, a & a-. anything 90 & above is an a in their book. i should just be happy that i'm able to do all the stuff they have us do! :)

i'm in total agreement on the poker night. i was just thinking the other day that it's been too damn long since the last one! let's do it!!

How about FRIDAY THE 13TH... Ooooh scary! I have a %#@*&^!## final on Monday or I'd do it this Friday.

i can't do it on the 13th because of a supposed kick ass party happening. it's a dress up party a la 'the nightmare before christmas' to celebrate katherine's birthday. they're actually having a few bands play and everything. plus i'm making her a chocolate cake like i did for you on your birthday.

we should do it this friday. that'll still leave you 2 whole days to study. perhaps 1 1/2 days once you get over the hangover! :)

I can't do it this Friday - I am already going to Happy Hour and my brother is coming up for dinner on Sunday... I really need to study for my stupid Chaucer final as much as possible.

How about the 14th!?

texas hold 'em is where it's at chick!

if you don't know how to play, there are probably like a 100 poker shows on tv these days. i'm especially fond of celebrity poker showdown on bravo and world poker tour on the travel channel. i haven't had the chance to watch one of those shows since school started because of the spare time issue. which i'm sure you can relate to as well. :)
