The kindle resolution is 167dpi, and it has 16 colours. The thing is, I don't want to retone an entire comic just for the kindle (if I did, I'd just tone at 167dpi ;), I just want the best approximation a resize of the print version I can manage. It's just rather frustrating, especially when I don't like tone anyway ;)
