Computer post
I just bought a new laptop! It's a Dell Studio 15 i3 (red) and....I went with windows. Why? I like my ipod, and can't afford a macbook. Otherwise, I thought Ubuntu was okay - but I have to admit I do like how everything is easy to find on Windows OS, and I like icons. The Windows 7 OS isn't that bad - I'll just need help continuing to strip down the bloatware. Already did some of that. I'm happy with it! Some cool features - light up keyboard...nice sized screen, not too heavy, good battery life, webcam included. This is the first computer I've ever purchased myself. I used the school laptop, and before that - a refurbished gift that Bob got me, and before that - the win 98 computer that my dad bought me for college. It is exciting that after months of making sure my ipod did not touch a computer and sync and lose all my music, finally I have restored all my music files, and I did not have to rebuy anything. The next step - get wireless hard drive, harvest photos and files from the giant computer downstairs,and make sure I have a copy on both. I also need a sweet laptop bag and sleeve. Not sure what I want, there. I don't really plan on using a desktop anymore. I'll put a sewing desk where the office was.
