I've been having a lovely few days lately.
Thursday was Orientation day. Spent half the day there, and then played Sudokus in Commerce. It was great to see
shenkhort again (:
Yesterday, I piggybacked a Year 8 excursion and got to go see
The Whitlams & The Sydney Symphony in concert and then sat around on grass and chilled with a few people. Then I went to half of my history class and was entertained by the sub who told us stories about politicians.
Today I hung out with a friend in the CBD. There was a lot of walking (in my heeled boots!) and some running but my feet don't hurt. We went to the markets, an art gallery, parks and gardens, the water, cafes, pretty much everywhere and we didn't run out of things to talk about. I bought
The Bermudez Triangle, by Maureen Johnson today. Should be an interesting read - I've always wondered what I would do if a close friend of mine told me he/she was homosexual. I spent three hours at my friend's place afterwards, watching
The Mighty Boosh, changing the bedsheets (because there it was laundry day bitches) and just talking.
So, things are picking up. My grading is next week though I've barely passed my past few gradings so I have no idea how this one will go.
