Poetic
I like to pretend I have a way with words. I also like the way words can mesh together, how some phrases can roll around on your tongue so easily, how some are clunky and ill-fitting.

I guess it's just the way some words can come together. I think that's what poetry really is, the blend of words that fit together perfectly.
Cake
I love cake. End of story.
Well, okay, not quite. I like cake that's sweet, thick, moist and rich. But I like plain cake, so no fancy jams or creams. Just a really good butter cake, with a sugary (but not too creamy or buttery) icing.
Why do I like cake? I can't quite say. It tastes fantastic, it's pretty and as a Frenchman in Antique Bakery (the movie) once said: "No one can be unhappy while eating cake."
Straightforward
I guess I don't believe in beating around the bush. I know that if someone had bad news or criticism to give me, I'd rather they do it quickly and don't drag it out. I tend to apply this to a lot of things, because I think it can be more devastating to drag if out no matter how kind you think you're being by not confronting it. At least, in the confrontation, everyone knows exactly where they stand.
Short
I've been this height for 4 or 5 years now, so I don't really think I'm going to grow anymore. It makes buying dresses and pants a little hard sometime but I have enough Textiles skills to alter them.
I like being this height. I think it suits me. At any rate, I'm used to it and it enables me to fit in places other people can't (like on playground equipment). Being as tiny as I am, I get a lot of affectionate jokes about it (but you never see affectionate jokes about tall people, ne?). I don't often get taken for younger than I am just because of my size - in fact, most people usually think I'm older than I am. So really, the only issue with being as short as I am is reaching things on high shelves. But even then, people will always come to my rescue.
Photography
I love taking pictures. Looking back on them, they can trigger so many memories. And when you manage to capture a really good shot, it can evoke so much pride just because you were lucky enough to be there with a camera.
Don't get me wrong, paintings and drawings and prints are fantastic as well. It's just the clarity in photos that make them so in-you-face.

I hate the fact that you cancelled on me at the last minute. I understand why, but I still hate it. Sometimes it feels like I do everything I can for you but I don't get anything back in return. We used to be close, but I guess that's how my story always goes. I made time for you, not as much as before, but I did. If you really don't care anymore then just say it.)
