[Margot's doing that thing again -- that thing where she buries herself in books for ages at a time. It's not been all that long yet so Nadia hasn't felt the need to come to the rescue, but the respite from her twin's looming ('how do you feel Nadia? not faint, not sick? shouldn't you sit down? you don't want to exert yourself!') is rather nice ( Read more... )

I'm guessing it's as how it sounds. What sorts of games are played? Are you in it?

[For some unknown reason, Yuki takes it upon herself to actually respond.]

. . . Books.

Books!

What sorts of books would you recommend? Most of the ones I've found on our shelves have been a bit... dull.

. . . Science fiction.

But the selection is poor. This will be my 32nd time through The Joy of Cooking . . .

...I sort of feared that was the case.

What's science fiction?

[In her frolicking, Nadia may run across a young man tending to his yard - yes even in this weather - accompanied by a hovering little while dragon.]

[A dragon! :D

...Usually they're out burning down towns, guarding their hordes, or kidnapping pretty young maidens in her world, but this one is just so tiny and cute.

She pauses by his fence, leaning her arms against it.]

Hello, there!

Um... I usually leave destroying things to my sister. She's quite a bit better at it than I am, I must say.

But I do rather like the other things!

Hahaha. Well, sometimes the town isn't too impressed with destroying things, so tell her to be careful.

There seem to be plenty of people who do the others. You might also want to see if you have a job.

[Margot's still at it when Nadia knocks to enter her room.

The girl is surrounded by piles of notes, a couple of books (most of which aren't entirely helpful, thank you, Mayfield Library), and hasn't showered for a few days and has eaten in even less than that time.

Sleep hasn't been much of an option either and she blearily waves her sister in.]

[Nadia frowns and sets some of her shopping down, coming over to pry the book Margot's scribbling from out of her hands.

It's easy to do.]

Enough, Margot. Please! You've been at this for days; you need a break.
