[Good morning residents of 1250 Williams Road. It seems you have a new daughter, an unfortunately pale sickly looking kid that's wandering around the house in a daze, confused as to why she's back here. She was home, dammit, and wanted to stay ( Read more... )

[He'd walk over and stand by the fence, not intruding for now. He had come over after seeing her from his roof.]

I wish I could say it was good to see you acting strange. Though I take it this means your back with us?

Mister Sniper!

[She'll tie her bathrobe tighter around herself because, really, she's in her pajamas and finds it a bit unseemly. :(]

Unfortunately yes. It does mean I'm back.

I am sure your sister will be glad to see you even if she won't be happy you're stuck here again.

[It was a shame, but this was just a reminder he had to get his work done. At least she missed Westport he supposed.]

If it matters any, my promise still stands. I'll get you all out of here eventually.

Thank you, but... ah, how long was I gone for? There's a different man in the pictures now, suppose he's to be our father, but... [Shakes her head, looking lost once more.]

My sister... Margot. Is she okay? Crowe told me that she was still here, but she was there too.

You've been gone a few weeks at least.

As for your sister, she's holding up. [Kind of...]

You say she was there too? Did you go back to the same time you left by any chance? The same instant?

[Nadia closes her eyes, remembering.] Same time. We were walking to the market, on errands for Miss Charlotte. Nice, sunny afternoon, the gulls wheeling about in the air... It was like I had never left at all.

Thank you Nadia, that's what I needed to hear. You're an angle you know that?

[He was pleased, his theories that he passed as truth were correct.]

We'll get you out of this nightmare. It's a shame you came back, and I wouldn't wish that on the REDs, let alone you.

I can't even begin to express how badly I wish to go home. [She sniffles, looking on the verge of tears. Today has been completely overwhelming.]

[He'd let his small victory fade away as he got back to the point of her.]

We'll get you there, I promise. When we do we'll make sure you never have to come back here. Ever.

Do you think you can stay strong and put your trust in us?

I-I can try, that's really all I can promise you...

Then that is all I will ask.

I'll be here whenever you need help, and if you need to escape my roof has plenty of room and is good for thinking.

[The same went for most, though Sniper was never altruistic. He helped them because in the end he believed they would be the key to getting out of here.

Still his smile was friendly and seemed to hold sympathy.]

[small smile] I'll keep that in mind, thank you Mister Sniper.

[He'd nod, it was the smallest bit he could do here.]
