Nostalgic in Egypt

It sucked working in Egypt, but it gave me the chance to tour n see everything I wanted to see. I couldn't believe how much time off I've had. I'm okay with leaving Egypt now. I'll miss a lot of things about it. The people can't help the way they are...it's their culture. I feel sorry for them because most of them can't get out of it. ( Read more... )

okay shame on egypt avengery February 27 2008, 21:44:33 UTC
you know .. when i read ur story .. i really luaghed alot its real i know but let tel you something .. this is the life u travel more and u will see different kind of people different ideas and another way to live , ohh im sorry i forget to take my chance for your forgiveness about my low english lol
like most Egyptians , i like what u wrote indeed , coz its touching a nerve but it will take ages to explain my opinion .. im a veterinarian all my study was in English and now i still weak in English u know why ?
a lot of people work work work and work 24 hours working and they r still poor ,, u know u why ?..
:) every time i stop writing this comment and remember what u said about the girl in the library .. u r so kindly person .. but its the nature affected by the environment which created by our grandfathers .. the main problem i guess they didn't teach us how to make a target and fill ur time ur life trying to reach ur target .. im sorry to say this example but i have to .. The only different thing between humans and animals is that the humans eat to live , create , work ,pray and do alots of useful things for there own life or for others .. animals live , fight , kill and swindle like u said to eat .. just to eat okay
unfortunately its not only egypt if u r looking around the world all do the same but it was annoyed u here in egypt coz there is little spaces remained for who eat to live .. they r there suffering from those live to eat ..
hmmmmmm i don't like to talk about problems if im not going to think about good solutions ..
but like what u said its nearly to be impossible coz all are losing there targets ... empty minds ...hmmm its enough long comment ..
im very glad that i read it ,, i printed it too
u will not miss egypt may be
but u will miss some kindly persons here who made u laugh ..

take a good care dear :)

Hello there! I just now noticed that I got a comment on my post.

I hope I didn't offend you with my observations about Egypt. I am assuming u r Egyptian. I was only posting about my observations and feelings at the moment. I left Egypt at the end of February and went to China and believe it or not, I miss Egypt! I miss the people and their sense of humor. I learned so much about myself and how the world works and I saw the world through a new pair of eyes.

Thanks for your comments and I understood exactly what you were trying to say. I couldn't post my comments in China on LJ because I couldn't access it so that's why my writing stopped.

Thank you again for your comments and I'm glad u understand my point of view.
:-)
