So here is what I put in the chili I'm trying to make. I sort of loosely followed a recipe because I didn't have all the ingredients.
About 1.5 lbs. ground turkey breast (browned in pan and drained)
1 diced red pepper
1/2 diced green pepper (I got tired of dicing)
Little more than 1/2 diced onion
1 large can of red kidney beans (drained)
1 large can of black beans (drained)
1 can of diced tomatoes (Italian Style... I didn't stop to check the label for what that implies)
1 can "Fire Roasted" tomatoes with garlic
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
I threw all that stuff in a crock pot and I'm letting it go for four hours. This means we won't be able to eat it until around 8pm; the prep work took a little longer than I thought. I hope it will be good and not weird or bad. Anybody have a guess?
