I apparently have bursitis (a type of tendonitis) in my hip, or rather affecting the ligament that runs down the outside of the hip. Go me. At least it's not something worse!!!
The specialist did a range of motion test and that was alright - I could feel pulling but not pain ... until he touched my hip and I pretty much lifted off the table. Repeatedly. Gah.
So long-term, I need to lose weight. No surprise there.
Short-term, he's scheduling me an appointment to go to the hospital for a shot of steroids and a new pelvic xray (presumably to ensure there aren't any other probs going on).
Hmmm, let's see ... this makes one sprained ankle, bursitis in at least one hip, and repeated tendonitis in both wrist ... elbows ... shoulders ... oh, and phase 2 degeneration in my neck. I'm still in my twenties. *blinks* I think I want a refund on this body, please.
