A little mundanity never hurt anyone.

I'm feeling relatively accomplished, and I have no idea why.
It's a good feeling though, so we'll run with it.

I went for a walk today - headed out for the Coop, then around abit in Brandon, hitting on the Bishop trail and followed it to the other side of Brandon. I found a park bench there, so decided to stop and do some work instead of pushing on. Made a few lists, read a chapter in my book, and then started my walk back. A lady happened to be coming along the path as I rejoined it, so she started talking to me. We chatted almost all the way back to Meadowfield :) I also saw not one but TWO hedgehogs. OMG -- so cute!!!

Got back home and decided to enjoy the sunlight a bit more.
Took my book into the yard, and sat and read until I thought I felt little raindrops (it was overcast at that point, but the rain never materialised), then moved back inside. Read a bit more upstairs, decided to make dinner. Made myself some pasta in tomato sauce with mushrooms and mince, and managed to inventory the kitchen while I was at it. (Well, not the food, but pretty much everything else).

So now all I need to do is figure out which of the stuff on my inventory belongs to me and whichw belongs in the house, and I can cross that item off my to-do list :) (H, I may need your help for that one....)

And it's not even 8pm yet. Yay :)
So now I'll putter a bit online (hopefully crossing off some more items from the list), and then ... back to the list! Yes, I function much better with a list. Don't ask, just go with it.

So yeah, nothing earth-shattering to report (although those hedgehogs were CUTE!!!) ... but hey, sometimes a little calm mundanity is nice too, eh?
