I've had this skin tag in my left armpit since I was a kid. Yesterday I had noticed it turned purple/black and it hurts. It had never hurt before. Should I pull it off? It feels and looks like it's about to fall off, but it still hurts. Wikipedia says they can't be painlessly removed without anesthesia - but everyone knows Wikipedia is full inaccuracies (duh). I should see if my insurance will cover the removal.
