It's not all that hard to learn. Perhaps once the horsies get settled here you would like to come and see them? You may bring your friend Seth if you'd like as well. They certainly won't mind as long as he's good at handing out apples.
Yes I will let you know. I'm sure it won't be more than a few weeks before things are ready.
I'm thinking of bringing Crackers over sooner though. If he's around and used to things when the others arrive they won't be nearly as upset about being moved. It's probably best if I only keep one stallion here and he's my usual mount.
What sort of horses does this Seth like best? The majority of my stock are American Quarter horses, thoroughbreds for racing. But I do have a few Arabs and larger warm bloods that are used for dressage and jumping. Nothing so prized as the racing stock mind you but some nice lineages none the less.
I have a pair of young arabs that might prove adaptable enough to come over. Does your friend have much experience with horses aside from admiration?
Quarter horses are an American breed. They're similar to english thoroughbreds used in racing but have a little less arab in them and a little more mustang if you want my traditionally biased opinion. Most in fact have the same thoroughbred lineages whether they're used in the racing world or not. But whatever their family tree they are the fastest horses on the planet if you only have a quarter mile to go. After that, well, even a good mule can leave them in their dust since their endurance is far but slow comparatively. ^^
Well I've talked to the stable Master back home, he said everything is ready as far as the horses go, but the paper work may hold things up a little. The only ones that are cleared for international travel already are the pair of palomino Arabs, Arabella and Armada, and one of our blue roan thoroughbreds named Lady Nightengale. They've been to races abroad already this year.
And of course Crackers, he often travels to Britain for shows since he's well known as a stud and throws quality colts of his color every time. He has to keep up his reputation for setting breed standards after all. He's a true ladys man at heart.
I think we could have them here by the end of the week if nothing gets fouled up at customs. The available stalls are fitted out properly with room for six horses, we're only starting on the addition to make room for more. I had the fences put in today and ordered supplies. I'll have to find a trainer and stable master soon though, I can't handle the details myself all the time.

Your horses sounds so lovely. Those are all very nice names. I do bet Crackers gets a lot of attention from the mares.
If I knew of any stabler masters or trainers, I would tell you of them but I'm afraid I don't know of any.

I can't wait myself, they're one of my favorite things to sketch. Perhaps one day I could paint you with one?

Would it be me this time or the lovely dragon from before? Not that it really matters, that dragon was magnificent.
