10 Things about Aubrey House
1. I don't know who my mother is and to be honest, I don't care. It's always been my Dad and I and I like it that way.
2. When I was nine, my dad had what is known as an infarction. It changed everything about our lives (or it feels like it did).
3. My best friend's name is Joanie. We met in Kindergarten while fighting over the green crayon. Now we are inseparable. She often comes over to our place to escape her mother's "recipes of the world" nights.
4. I play center for my school's lacrosse team.
5. I have no idea where I want to go to college or what I want to do with my life. But at the same time, I feel like I can't tell anyone that. So I always tell people I'm "weighing my options".
6. In the past four years, my Dad has almost died four times. Most people assume this last time must be the most frightening (his heart almost gave out), but in reality it was his overdose.
7. I have considered doing drugs. It is something I am still considering. It's not like there's no short supply of them around my house.
8. While I got to Lisa for a lot of the "girly" things in my life, I think I view Wilson as more of a mother figure. When Wilson was living with us, it was weird but kind of awesome. I wasn't used to having dinner waiting on the table.
9. Though part of me wants to be a doctor, I'm afraid I'm always going to be "Greg House's girl".
