Oh Baby!
So Mindy produced a small human today. His name is Ion. As far as I know, he is healthy. I asked Mindy if he had all his fingers and toes anyways....doesn't that determine health? I don't know much, like how big he is or anything...she called me 10 minutes after having birthed him. I felt extremely honored to be informed so quickly. I have never felt more special in my entire life. My friend pushed out a human being and thought, i should call Ginny because she's not here. That is fucking awesome. I really don't know what else to say. i come home next Friday and will see said baby.
On another note, I had a very silly, but extremely important notion today. Apple's or Mac computers deposit of unwanted files and programs into a trash bin. PC's deposit these files into a recycle bin. In real life, do PC users recycle more? I really want know. I think that's all I have to say.
I almost forget then hurried back to edit this. I saw a play last night by Wole Soyinka. It was Death and the King's Horsemen. It was a pretty good play. He apparently has won a Nobel Prize in Literature before, the first African since Albert Camus. (Wikipedia told me this) Anyways, it was cool because the Black Repertory Theatre from St.Louis put it on/performed it and Wole was there for the performance as he had given a talk earlier in the evening. It was pretty cool.
p.s. Creepy clean roommate wrote on her wall calender that she would clean today. She did. In fact, she removed everything from the bathroom and swiffered it. She also vacuumed the bath mat and I believe swiffered our room too. I don't know what else is part of this cleaning ritual...I left because the chemicals mingling with the smell of her multitude of hair products was making me nauseas. I must be tolerant though. I'm sure she cringes every time I pick up a shirt and sniff it to see if I should wear it.
