what's awesome is how similar my astoria icon and my budapest icon are.

I am in no-spend-money mode before I travel, and it's KILLING ME.  It's spring, and there is SO much I want to see/do and I am in a constant state of thinking I need new cute warm-weather clothes.  So, anyone who wants to spend gobs of time loafing around in parks and doing other things that are free for the next three weeks, please give a girl a call.

I am waiting to hear about new team-leader projects with NYCares for which I am in the running.  It's been a while since I've found Yes-I-Must-Do-This projects, and suddenly there are TWO I want to lead, which is awesome.  Plus I'm still high off our Hands On New York Day (photos now with captions!) and want to get back out there.

I finally am able to breathe without wheezing or losing my voice today, so will be going back to the gym.  I know it's gonna kick my ass, since it's been a week, and my body feels completely free to revert to a state of total inertia if I skip even one day of gym, let alone seven.  Fingers crossed that I don;t do anything to embarrass myself.

I followed up on mom's passport and got the dude from the agency to actually call her personally to give her a status update, during which she should also be able to switch the mailing option from snail-mail to overnight service.  Assuming she actually answers the phone when he calls, that'll be just grand.

Boys really seem to get charged up in spring, and I am not complaining.  I have had a couple guys give me their numbers while out walking around in the past couple of days, and suddenly have two e-mails on Match.com, just as I was thinking of canceling that noise for lack of anyone good.  Also, my boss felt it was important for me to know Friday that he thought I was really pretty.  I swear it was sweet and not at all weird -more kind of fatherly.
