Made a cheesecake today, which involved turning the families less than stellar oven up to 500 degrees. It was sort of like those submarine movies where the sub has to dive past its design specs duing a red alert. There were lots of furitive glances, lone beads of sweat and ocasional pops and groans.

Tastes great. It fell apart when I took it out of the springform pan though. It's kind of a cheesecake-cobbler type thing now. I just tell people it's my latest invention :P
