action for 1652 Albright Lane.
[ Upon waking, Xander... rolls onto the floor. Which yes, is a rude awakening, but it's not like he's done never it before, a mess of sheets and flailing limbs. However, it's the room he's in that makes him flop around and get on his feet. Which is when he notices that there was someone else in his bed. ] Oh god ( Read more... )

What's your hurry? It's really not that bad of a town. You know, once you get over the Stepford Smilers. ...And the almost monthly psychological horrors the big bad in charge throws at us.

Really not that bad, they say. It's only gonna hurt a little bit, they say.

Yeah, well I say bring it on. I've taken on a couple big bad's myself, and my sanity's still intact.

Oh, yeah. Great idea. Go get yourself killed right off the bat. Not that it really matters, since you'll kind of just... wake up in that bed the next day. Awfully nice of them to keep us from escaping that way, huh?

Honestly? I'd rather not find out for myself. As crappy as this place can get sometimes, it's better than the whole, uh... not existing thing.

What about the not existing here thing? We don't just get- oh, I don't know, sent back whence we came when we take a long walk off a short pier?

That's another one of those 'highly debated' topics. It's pretty much a toss-up of "I want to believe there's a way to go home" and "We're pretty much screwed, bro".

Of course, I guess that doesn't really matter to some of the people that were already dead back home.

Guess that'd just make it a moot point all around.

So which side of the argument are you on? The everyone's screwed and not in a good way, or the one where we all sit around singing kumbaya and hoping for the best?
