"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe', a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... A kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.." -- Albert Einstein. I LOVE this quote. Today was the start of the "Tour De France". For those of you who don't know what that is it's a cycling event held anually in france. It lasts for a little under a month and covers approxamitly 2,100 miles. It is the most physically grueling event in the world. Lance Armstrong has won the Tour 6 years in a row which is not only a first in the history of the Tour but also somewhat of a miracle being that Lance is a cancer survivor. It's kind of a tradition in my family to watch the tour daily and to keep up with Lance's progress as well as with his rival Juan Ulrich. Juan is a German rider who rides for Team Telecom. He's Lance's biggest rival, so the two of them face off alot during the race. Well just in case some of you sound intrested in the Tour I'll probably be posting updates on here every once and a while. The 4th of July is nearing, that means it's almost FIREWORK TIME!!!! Hells yeah!
