i went to see the red sox last night!
it was so much more fun than i thought it would be. everything about it was so great. i met my brother by fenway about an hour before the start of the game. he said i had to get the whole fenway experience, so he took me to a bar on landsdowne street (a street outside of the park) and we got drinks and some nachos. of course the place was packed, but it was pretty fun. so then it was off to the park and when we got to our seats i realized that they aren't kidding when they say "obstructed view".
luckily, the pair of seats next to ours was never filled, so we pushed over in the second inning and watched the rest of the game from there. it got kind of chilly, too, so my brother signed up for a credit card to get me a free blanket. it was warm.

the pictures make it look like i was 100 thousand lightyears away. they definitely were not the furthest seats in the house. the picutres look smaller than it was in reality. i'm so serious that it was the greatest time ever. my brother was talking to his friend about how it was a bummer that my first and likely last game was a loss. so apparently this guy is planning on going to something like 20 games this season so he said he'd see what he could do about getting a pair of tickets to jason so we could go to another game. that would rule. it was honestly the best time. i even got cracker jacks. the prize sucked.
