looks like It's possible that i'll be getting that laptop, sooner than I thought, it will help me with my notetaking, no one knows how much it will help, no one, anywhere, writing is just a rediculous strain on my fingers and wrist, it makes me sad, with typing, everything comes out faster, i'm gonna look weird, typing on the laptop and reading from the desktop, fuck, i'll do it. I really think this will be the boost I need to finish this goddamned place. Actually, I shouldn't be so quick to hate this place, I just have a general hate for public schools (up until college) of all kinds, as it is the worst way to teach anyone anything, this place has been nice to me, at least the teachers have been. If I plan to get out of here as soon as possible, then I need that thing within this week or next. ahh, I almost had a ray of hope yesterday, I could just do my GED and be finished with all this shit right? nope......it's court mandated that I finish LIFE SKILLS.......definately wanted to break something....... well, i'd like to point out something good that happened last night, Half-life 2 works on my PC once again, that game rocks, it has a big conspiracy story, conspiracies, uprisings, secrets, guys in gasmasks, the works, and you do eventually work your way to the top, and by top I mean the head of the remaining planet, and you almost can completely see what's going on, only, contact with the aliens he is associating with is very scarce, you rarley ever see them (the Combine). so yes, it's very cool (insanely cool) on the conspiracy type level, but other than that, the story doesn't do much. i'll probably get home and play it all damn day, as I have nothing else to do, and i'm excited about it. there's one thing i'm still trying to figure out, and it has to do with how much RAM I have, the textures are having trouble loading sometimes when displaying new ones which makes the visuals and sound skip (like looking at something in the game you haven't seen yet, which sucks).I thought they were set too high, but setting them to a lower level doesn't do much except bump up the regular preloaded framereate up maybe 3-5 FPS, and that's not what i'm having trouble with, i'll figure it out when I get home, I only had, aboot 30 mins to mess with it. I got this game to work after figuring out my secret answer to my secret question, which was, "what is the name of your pet" to which I answered "Stephanie" and it let me through to patch up the game, decrypt the files and play. oh dude, oh shit, oh man, wait, sudden happy thought, here we go.........
Drakengard 2
fuuuck yes, apparently this sweet title snuck up on me, it was released on february, and I didn't even know, I dunno if anyone knew how much I loved the first one.......a war between two kingdoms that eventually triggered a worldwide apocalypse, with either time stopping, or thousands of angel-demon furiae's being born out of "Seeds of ressurection". or the main character caim setting out to kill every dragon on the planet, and succeeding.Caim stopping the demon-child mannah, that mannah, haha.... so many things happened in that game that i'm going to remember for a long time, it's so insane and eventually becomes hopeless, with no reason to fight anymore, since the cannibalistic rotting babies are eating everything they see why fight on, but he does, caim still fights, with some kind of twisted hope, or maybe just rage, revenge, or bloodshed in his mind, or a combination of all four, because caim is a very twised character, with a serious lust for battle and blood. i found it really interesting to see him acting as just a tool to destroy the empire, and becomes somewhat, well, not just somewhat, but almost entirely emotionless and empty, with his sole purpose being a weapon, and never a human again. but in one of the endings he cries when his dragon partner finally reaches her end, the pact between them is broken, and he can speak again, he would've rather stayed silent for the rest of his life and have her around than to be rid of her, and this is a setting where dragons and humans have an equal hatred for each other, generally of course. If the second story is as memorable (I don't really see that happening, i'm pretty sure everyone from the first game is dead now, depending on what ending they chose to be the "real" ending)then I need to pick up this game A.S.A.P. . I wonder how many people see these games like I do, some games to me are an equal to any good book to another person, games aren't fucking grey square pong paddles anymore, meh, what do I care, I get great stories out of them, I guess that's all that matters, i'll just have to send some fan mail to those guys or something, tell them to keep it up. I can't say enough good things about drakengard, I just can't, it's just one of those things...Hey, brandon has my drakengard, better get that back. well, I looked to the internet for the last ending of drakengard, the 5th, yes, I know, disgraceful, but you know what, no one is goddamn right when they write down where to get certian weapons, it's just WRONG INFORMATION, anyway, I guess i'm glad I didn't go the extra mile to get the rest of the weapons, the last one is.......really weird, if they were really trying to be serious, then that means these two kingdoms were on a part of the planet that had been out of touch with regular civilization for thousands of years, but more likely, it's just a joke........ ciam sacrifices himself to stop the "mother" grotesquery, the dragon starts to fly off but is shot down by a couple f-16's, what do you think?
I think it's goddamn weird. I got to see it on youtube.com, I like that place, a lot of trailers for the 2nd one. I think this might be a little too much ranting about one game, time to go
