Notes: This is the fourth piece in the Noir AU which I'm calling "Living For the Night" thanks to let_it_linger21. Again, first person (this time from Foyet's POV), dark, gritty, and little naughtiness

I'm not a big fan of Foyet, I thought he was lame, but the cool thing about fanfiction is a writer can make him much cooler than I thought he was in canon. Second, do I sound a little sick saying that the idea of evil Foyet fucking sweet JJ intrigues me. Also, is this his baby she's pregnant with....ewww. Poor JJ, she has no idea what this man is really like.

I loved his inner thoughts the whole time he was with her, the glasses, the using of each other, all of it. I liked it more than the part about him being a cop and stuff....I think it got more to the heart of him since human interaction, particularly with those you are supposed to love or at least like a lot, shows more what kind of person you are.

Aw, I loved him, haha! ...That being said if I somehow made him COOLER in this fic, for you or anyone, I'm ecstatic, haha! No, you're not sick, I put them together for the same reason - it intrigued me, haha! (I actually nearly wrote a whole sex scene but thought it'd just be, like, gratuitous at the moment...might appear later though, depends.) Yes, the idea is that JJ's pregnant with Foyet's kid...ewww, haha! Nope, not really.

Yeah, well the concept of the deeply corrupt cop isn't anything new, especially in noir, which is why I had him interact with others. To each person he shows a slightly different version of himself and while to JJ he wears the biggest mask it's where he reveals himself the most to the reader as well. ...That's the idea anyway, haha!

I'm glad you liked it! Next big intro up is Morgan - but I'll probably put it in Hotch's POV (keep the POVs Reid, Hotch, Foyet) for my and the reader's own sanity, haha! Thank you SO SO much for the feedback!! :D

And I am so, so sad that you didn't. It would've been awesome. But I loves me some Foyet, even when he's a corrupt cop who thinks in Raymond Chandler-isms.

Reading this story gave me the giggles---the delighted giggles. It's nice to see some AUs cropping up in this fandom. ;-)

Haha! Well I'm not ruling it out completely, especially not if there's real interest in reading it. It's funny I was trying to keep this FRT but, um, the farther into this I go I'm realizing that that's probably not gonna happen...noir's just not a PG or PG-13 styled genre, haha!

I'm thrilled Foyet seems to be coming off so (nastily) well in this, I wasn't sure I got the voice of noir!Foyet right. Hey giggles are great as long as they're delighted, haha! ;-) Yeah, this AU I started back in, um, March or so - I'm getting back to it now that the summer's over. I like the challenge of a the AU Noir Criminal Minds :D

Haha, well it is Foyet so creepy should go with the territory, hahaha!! ;-) I'm glad you found it interesting too though, haha! Ah, yes, well I figured I'd give Foyet a voice too - I think I'll stick with Reid, Hotch, and Foyet for the POVs now, haha!

This was really good. I just recently stumbled across your AU Noir CM fanfics and I must say I'm quite drawn to them. It's different and dark and gritty and that's why I'm really liking this series.
As for this particular piece, I was neither here nor there on Foyet in canon but reading this, I think I like this version of him better than the original. Surprisingly, I quite like JJ with Foyet in this because she just seems so innocent and sweet but then she's dating someone as dark as him, interesting. Also, just a question, is the baby JJ is pregnant with Foyet's? I hope it is because that just adds to the creepiness of this.

Why thank you! Oh, haha, yeah, it's probably cause I just started them up from, uh, March? (Haha, I took the summer off.) I'm really glad you like the darkness and grittiness of it because, well, I know that noir can be an acquired taste, haha!

Haha, well I'm glad you like Noir!Foyet...not in the least because I, well, created him, haha! I'm also pleased that the Foyet/JJ angle is working for you because I wasn't sure if it'd be too out there. You know I find it funny everyone's still seeing JJ as sweet and innocent - I mean she's still that compared to Foyet but, well, she is using him, haha! ...You're the second person to ask that. Rather than make it easy and answer outright (because I'm a pain, haha)...What do you think? You think JJ's pregnant with Foyet's baby?? ;-)

Haha, yes yes the whole Foyet/JJ angle is wokring for me. I am always one to go for the weird pairings! Haha. It is interesting though that everyone still see's her as sweet and innocent JJ when she obviously isn't. Even though she is using him I guess people still see her that way because we've only seen this small glimpse of her in this series so far. Maybe when we get into the darker and grittier side of things our views will change?
Do I think JJ is preggo with Foyet's baby? I honestly don't know. I know I want her to be (probably the result of my twisted mind) but I'm not too sure if she is. If the baby was Foyet's it would certainly add a whole new level to the story and to their characters...but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. :)

Yay! Haha, it was the pairing I was most worried about because it was so out there I wasn't even sure people would accept it, haha! But people are seeming to so I'm thrilled! Yeah, that's true, JJ has only just been introduced and, well, compared to sociopathic Foyet most people are gonna look sweet and innocent. Hopefully as the story continues and she gets to interact with other characters more sides of her will be shown - like the darker ones, haha!

Haha, well I can say that the parents of the children on the show are not always the same parents in this Au. Elle is the single momma of Jack in this AU after all, haha! And I'm all for adding strange twists; Foyet being daddy is just that. But I don't like to give it all away up front either! ;-)

Holy shit...And I mean that in a good way. I totally loved it! The first paragraph was fantastic and the dialogue was great. You wrote Foyet so amazing! You're right, JJ definitely has a twist to her.

Hahaha!! Well, so long as it's in a good way, haha! I'm happy to hear that! Oh my god, I'll tell you something, the first paragraph was probably what took me the longest to write, haha! Yeah, the dialogue was tricky at times because, despite his nature, I couldn't have Foyet dominate everyone so...yeah, haha! I'm glad you think so! He was kinda fun to write and, haha, he'll be back too. ;-) Yes, she does! It's not obvious like the others but it's there...it'll probably appear more (and more clearly) later too. :D
