Great update. I quite like the discussion about Reid's "type" (and how Hotch wasn't "it"... although I have some hope that Reid's mind will change). I also liked how you portray Hotch's mood swings and withdrawal symptoms. Looking forward to more.

Thanks! Only took forever, huh? Haha! Ah, well, see how Reid presumes Hotch is (all the things that made the guy not his "type") might not really be true - Hotch may surprise Reid like Reid's surprised him - hence the ending quote, haha! Heck Hotch may surprise himself, haha!

Yeah, the withdrawal symptoms as a whole are hard to write sometimes but I like them - they serve a major purpose (and will continue to) in the story and in getting these two closer. ...I just hope I can pull it off in the end, haha! So happy to see people might actually have stuck with this story, hahaha! There should be, I'm totally feeling this pairing right now and woke up with possible openings for the chapter/piece in my head this morning...all good signs, haha!
