I'm Alive...Crazy, But Alive

Right so I have not fallen prey to some unfortunate accident or illness nor am I intentionally avoiding this place and the lovely friends I've made here I'm just...busy, haha!

As the weather grows better I find myself pulled outside to enjoy fresh air, exercise (important to get outside now while the humidity isn't unbearable), and those buds I have nearby that I can interact face-to-face with. ...These are, in fact, the same reasons I wrote almost nothing during the Spring and Summer of last year. And now that you know this please don't be alarmed if I disappear for a fair amount of time once again and/or throughout the next few months.

Vegas (as I know some of you know I've mentioned) probably won't be until August...gotta get the final word from buds on that but, either way, I won't be around when I'm there. I will, however, try my hardest to write about it's awesomeness when I return, haha!

Now, for those of you that care to know:

I am still working on my blog, Psych(o) Files. My latest article is Philia Friday: Love For Every Age. If I can settle down long enough to work properly I may have 1-2 more up at some point.

As far as fanfiction...I got nothing, haha! Sorry! I mean I know where I want my noir piece to go and even my future-ish one with Jack and Cassidy but the words just aren't coming to me, the character's are virtually mute! The only folks I got chatting to me at the moment are those in my original vampire crew (bits and pieces I've written since my undergrad years) so, unless I'm struck suddenly with something or can get one of the rejected ideas for a vampire to start chatting with Hotch et all I got nothing for ya'll.

What's everyone's opinion on GOOD (modern) vampire stories? What does a story about vamps need to be good and fun to read and, well, make you want to read more about a certain vamp?

I've always been a fan of Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles and New Tales of the Vampire and such. Anyone else have a suggestion?? Think modern please, I've already read Dracula (Do NOT say Twilight, haha!)
