I like that. You can see Hotch's stubbornness - both in Hotch himself and in his son. I love seeing Jack's profiler perspective already starting to form. The "date" "no date" exchange was great also. I'm sure, even without Henry's boldness, Jack'll manage it in his own way soon enough.

I shall now begin the chorus of "moooooooreeeee, please."

Haha, yeah, Jack's got his dad's stubbornness for the stuff he really believes in...which also shows he's strong enough to handle being an FBI profiler. I figure, you get raised by and around profilers, you're going to pick up some of it up naturally (and Jack has studied psychology and criminology too), haha! Heehee, that's Henry for ya and he'll tease and joke more when the two guys meet up. ...Yeah, it'll all work out for Jack in getting a date-date, haha!

Heehee! Thanks! Others ideas are swimming around - I'm really feelings this AU right now - so more will come, haha! ...Along with other pieces from other AUs and random pieces, haha! ;-)

Oh, definitely! Jack would be an excellent profiler. In some ways, he has an ability to surpass his parents' skills in profiling, because he'll begin knowing so much. He'll go in with a full awareness of the risks and losses, better able to calculate the pros and cons. If he starts there and just moves up, he will do well.

Yay - on both counts! I look forward to seeing not-so-lil!Henry and the "real date."

He could, yes...although he really doesn't have a full awareness of the risks and losses yet. He's still rather fuzzy on the circumstances of his mother's death - he knows who it was and all but I'm thinking he's a little unaware that Foyet, specifically, targeted Haley and him because of his father the whole "deal" issue. A lot of the stories I'm planning sort of deal with those things: with Jack understanding the true scope of the job (and its risks) in order to make a decision not based on a "my parents did it, I wanna do it" but on a "I know the risks, the potential losses, and I'm willing to take them in order to do what I've always wanted to" and coming to the point where he realizes he has to be his own man, independent of his dad, in the decisions he makes.

:D Might have a Hotch/Prentiss in there first - gotta good idea from mcgarrygirl78

Well that's understandable...thankfully I can usually pull something out. In fact I do my best work under pressure so...yeah...haha!
